When stained, wood surface appears uniform in shade and texture, making wood imperfections barely discernible. Color variation is prominent, though. Small burls, light brown streaks, restored knots up to 1.3",properly filled open checks and worm holes, slight imperfections in face work (torn grain) and burns are admitted. 1 Natur is classifying plank floors 7 1/2" wide. This is a tasteful choice when reasonable natural variation is expected.
