Character grade is used to classify wide plank floors 190mm wide.The face of a plank may contain diverse color variation, sapwood, unlimited burls, brown streaks, tight knots and properly filled open knots, as well as warm holes. Imperfections in the face work (torn grain) and burns are admitted.
